Who we are
Omni DJ is operated by MONO LABS, established in the Netherlands. For any privacy question or to exercise the rights below, email [email protected].
What we collect when you create an account
Email address and password (password is stored hashed, we never see it in plain text); the legal name and artist/stage name you enter; optional social media and streaming links (Instagram, TikTok, SoundCloud) if you add them; and, if you answer them, the optional referral-source and "why are you interested" survey questions from the sign-up form. All of this is data you type in yourself; we do not buy or scrape it from elsewhere.
What we collect when you use the app
Your audio and video files are analysed and edited on your own machine and are not uploaded to us for that purpose. What does sync to our servers, so it is available across your devices and workspace: workspace and brand-kit settings, DJ profile information, clip metadata (names, durations, which set a clip came from), and the posts you schedule in the Calendar (caption, chosen platforms and timing). If you connect a social account (TikTok, YouTube, or in a later release Instagram), we store the account’s access and refresh tokens so the app can post on your behalf; those tokens are never sent to your browser or shown in the app, and you can revoke them at any time by disconnecting the account.
What we do not collect
We do not upload, scan or transmit your source audio or video files for analysis. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with advertisers. We do not use your sets, clips or brand assets to train AI models.
Diagnostics and telemetry
We collect anonymous product telemetry (which features get used, crash reports) to improve Omni DJ. You can opt out at any time in Settings, Diagnostics.
Cookies and local storage on this website
omnidj.com itself does not currently set any analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only browser storage we use is strictly necessary: keeping you logged in between pages, and remembering the choice you make in the cookie banner. If we ever add optional cookies (for example analytics), the banner in the corner of the screen will ask for your consent first, category by category, before any such cookie is set; declining is exactly as easy as accepting. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
Legal basis for processing (GDPR/AVG)
We process account and workspace data to perform our contract with you (running the service you signed up for), billing data based on that same contract and our legal obligation to keep financial records, diagnostics telemetry based on your consent (opt-out available at any time), and social-platform tokens based on the specific consent you give when you connect that account.
How long we keep data
Account and workspace data is kept for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterwards to handle billing disputes and legal obligations. Social-platform tokens are deleted when you disconnect the account or close your account. Financial records are kept for the period Dutch tax law requires (currently 7 years). You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time, subject to those legal retention obligations.
Who we share data with (processors)
Supabase (authentication, database and file storage for the data listed above), Stripe (payment processing; we never see your full card number), a transactional email provider (account and billing emails), Cloudflare (content delivery and, for the app installer, file storage), and, only for the social accounts you explicitly connect, TikTok, YouTube (Google) and, in a later release, Instagram (Meta) through their official developer APIs. Each processor only receives the data it needs to perform its specific function, and is bound by a data processing agreement where required by law.
International transfers
Some of our processors (for example Google and Meta, for the social integrations above) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards required by GDPR, such as the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights (GDPR/AVG)
You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal data, and you can object to or ask us to restrict certain processing, by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority; in the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Children
Omni DJ is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be announced inside the product and on this page at least 30 days before they take effect.
